Very good | Dr Bird was brilliant! She communicated really well, really made me feel listened to, heard, valued and cared for. She was transparent and clear and explained everything to me. She was also very proactive and genuinely seemed to understand and care. I really cannot say enough positive things about her and the appointment. She wasn’t able to fix everything and nor did she have all the answers, but I really don’t think those were negatives or problems at all because of how she dealt with and communicated it all. The receptionist was also really reassuring, patient helpful and didn’t make me feel silly, too much or infantilised at all in my having a little panic and having learning and communication difficulties. | If there was a way to have written notes to be able to remember things from the appointment (I have disabilities that make it difficult to understand and remember information, especially when there are lots of things), that would be really helpful, but, otherwise, there genuinely isn’t anything I can think of that could top how good you all and Dr Bird have been. | May 13, 2025 at 12:36 pm |
