Poor | I received a call at 5.55 last week to say the doctor has said your cholesterol is high so he is going to up your medication, being shocked by this I asked what it was, the lady said 4.2. Not knowing much about cholesterol results I asked my mum who is a retired nurse, she said that was normal and to call back and query which I did. I was then told my mum needs to look at all the readings and for me to make an appointment to discuss with the doctor. I then shown my mum the reading, she said there were no 4.2 on there and should not of given info over. | Doctor should call if results high and speak to patient then if any queries can answer. Doctor also should look at all results on cholesterol as my mum picked up to ask for a thyroid function test as I called back and the doctor agreed that it should be done.
