I took advantage of a phone call back, which did not take long made an appointment and saw the doctor the same day. A bit of a wait upon arrival but understandable as I appreciate the doctor is busy

Because when I was unwell and visited the surgery to see Dr Heaton I collapsed onto the floor. I was carefully helped onto a chair, because of this happening Dr Patel saw me as he was nearby.
We had the discussion about my health and reveral to the LRI.
The problem for me was when Dr Patel appeared in reception and I asked him, do I really have to go to the hospital.
It was then in the reception area with patients near by that Dr Patel replied. (Words to the effect)Your problems are your mental health. If you don’t want to go and think it’s all your mental heath then you should go home and contact your CPN.
I feel that his opinions be them right or wrong should not of been expressed in a public place where staff and other patients could hear him.
