Repeat Prescriptions
If you have regular medication for a condition, that your doctor is aware of, you can periodically collect a repeat prescription from the practice without having to make an appointment.
Please help reduce medicine waste by only ordering repeat prescriptions when you need to and don't stockpile medicines as they could go out of date or be taken by someone they are not intended for.
You should also expect to have a medication review with your Doctor at least once a year and the surgery will usually send out a reminder so please help us by finding out when your review is due and booking appointment.
Repeat prescription requests can be made by the following ways:
Online
Our practice has been enabled to take repeat prescriptions online. In order to make use of this facility, you must be registered as a patient with our practice. Only then can you register with this service. You can register with this practice/service by contacting us on: 01530 249461.
By Post / In Person
You can send in a printed request slip (available from the practice, which shows the medication you are taking) to the practice by post or in person.
By E-mail
(Please remember to enclose you full name, date of birth and list of medication required).
By Fax
You can fax you prescription request through to the surgery on 01530 245668.
Please allow two days before collection of your prescription, to allow it to be checked and signed by your doctor.
